Whilst the first two Grand Theft Auto games were unquestionable classics (and huge hits), it was GTA3 that rose the bar to a whole new level. With a subject matter that is certainly not for the faint-hearted (car jackings, beatings, prostitution etc..!), there is so much more to this game than just the shock horror mature content. Grand Theft Auto 3 gives the player near total freedom as their career in crime progresses from lowly hood to becoming a fully fledged crime lord. An essential addition to your PlayStation 2 catalogue, just make sure you keep it out of sight of the kiddies.
