You can record directly to DVD in 1080i high definition quality with atmospheric Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. Its top quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens features a multi-layer coating that will minimize light reflection on the lens surface and eliminate ghosting and flaring. This means that more natural light is able to reach the imaging chip, which makes your images more natural-looking and vibrant. The CearVid CMOS sensor provides greater picture quality and advanced features including Dual Recording, increased light sensitivity and Smooth Slow Recording. Dual recording allows you to take 2mp still shots while you are shooting your footage. You can also take photos at up to 4mp quality in still mode and save them to a Memory Stick DUO (not included). The HDR-UX3E also features Super SteadyShot image stabilization, a 2.7 inch touch screen display and a 10 x optical/80x digital zoom.
