3D space strategy games are almost always gorgeous, combining raw technological prowess with a distinct flair. Homeworld forged a baton of pure white light and the development world ran with it. But underneath that sheet of polygon lust lies a genre that deserves special attention that is defined not by yearly updates or franchises, but by raw and unfettered innovation. Haegemonia carries on with that tradition with an impeccable eye for detail. Even by the standards of its peers Haegemonia is gorgeous.
