Introducing the much-lauded Kane 'Kano' Robinson: garage's lyricist laureate, the MC's MC, the street poet who knows it, a pirate frequency all of his own. Like Dizzee Rascal before him, 19-year-old Kano brings the sound of east London's grime scene from the underground into the mainstream. His productions - sampling from heavy metal, classical, rock and rave – and 3D lyrics reflect garage's growing palette of influence. Following on from his 'P And Qs', 'Typical Me' and 'Remember Me' singles, Kano's debut album, 'Home Sweet Home' is ready to blow up the show.
Debut album from London-based grime artist Kano. The recording features a whole host of producers including Southern hip hop DJ, Diplo, and Bloc Party producer Paul Epworth. The album mixes garage, rap and cuban rhythms, resulting in a slice of British hip hop with crossover appeal. The singles 'Remember Me' and 'Nite Nite' are included.
U.K. rhyme-dropped Kano is only a couple letters and a bigger budget away from being Kanye West. This 2005 set features the bonus track "Boys Love Girls," as well as "Home Sweet Home," "Ghetto Kid," "Reload It," and 12 more.
